European Commission has warned WhatsApp

Yesterday 8 Jun, the European commission warned WhatsApp that its consumers must be clearly informed about its terms of service and data policies. Most peoples using WhatsApp doesn't know about WhatsApp's privacy policy. The European Commission thinks everyone in Europe deserves to know how online services use their data. According to WhatsApp's current Privacy Policy, WhatsApp collects information about all of its user's private data such as phone numbers, email, business information, contact list, people we interact with, and a lot more.

″Europeans deserve to know how online services use their data.

Today, we warned WhatsApp that its consumers must be clearly
informed about its terms of service and data policies.

In particular, whether WhatsApp derives its revenue from users
    personal data."
