Pete Arredondo the chief of Uvalde schools police |
Well, we have learned that Pete Arredondo the chief of the Uvalde schools police the one who was in charge of the response that day arrived at the scene of that mass shooting at the elementary school without his radio and other equipment. This is according to what law enforcement sources told WFAA's sister station in Austin. We've been reported reporting rather Arredondo has said that he was not informed of the panic coming from students, who were still trapped inside the building as that massacre unfolded and he told officers to hold off on going into that classroom thinking it was just barricaded subject at that point again the reporting is he didn't have his radio with him.
It’s unclear who at the scene was aware of panicked 911 calls coming from students trapped inside a classroom where the gunman had holed up.
