It is possible to create great montage videos using iPhone's cinematic mode. If you know how to use the cinematic mode accurately, then you would be able to create a greater montage video than ever before.

Things to focus on first
While taking shots you need to focus on a few things like clothing, accessories, or even the way you move. You need to be more specific on your topic by focusing on them.
Also, take the shadows as they look cute. Use iPhone's Cinematic Mode to make your Video Montage. The cinematic mode works best when there is a little distance. Set automatic focus tracking by tapping on the face or object. Tap to shift focus between people or objects. You can also have your subject move into the frame to activate focus tracking.
This will keep you focused as you are doing a movement.
Now take shots from different angles.
If your hand is shaky, then use Gimbal to make your video smoother.
Make Your Montage
So, before we start editing let's favorite the clips we really like in the Photos app so that we can find them easily later.
- Open Photos
- Select videos you liked
- Click on the Heart icon to make it a favorite
Now, let's put all the clips together so we can make a great video montage. It will be easiest and fastest if we use the Clips app to put our montage clips together.
- Open Clips
- Go to Import
- Select Photos
- Look at all those hearts on the clips we favorited earlier and select a few of those
After this is done, we’re ready to edit our video.
Edit Your Montage
Now give this all a trim as needed.
To give it a trim,
- tap on the clip you want to trim
- Click on the Trim icon
- Drag on either side to edit
- After that select trim and you will be done
It doesn't feel good if it has no music or soundtrack. To add a soundtrack or music to your video,
- Select a clip and click on the Mute icon to mute a clip
- Click on the Music icon on the top right
- Tap the soundtrack/Music
- And choose the Music/soundtrack you want
